Celebrating 90 Years 

In the 1930s through early women leaders in NZ, various Area groups started to be formed in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Dunedin, Tauranga, Whanganui, Nelson, Whangarei, Greymouth, Waikato and Palmerston North - 11 Area Groups in all.

What the PPSEAWA
is all about

Mission

To strengthen the bonds of peace by promoting better understanding and fostering friendship among all women of the Pacific and Southeast Asia.

To initiate and promote cooperation among the women of these regions for the study and improvement of social, economic, and cultural conditions.

  Vision

The growth of the organisation through increased membership and through the establishment of new regional Area groups in New Zealand.

Increased programme activities in all Area groups in New Zealand.

Goals

Identifying the needs and problems of today's women and children.

Identifying the needs and problems of women and children

Protecting the status of women and children

Furthering education, skills training and literacy programmes for all age groups

Working to protect and improve the environment

Perfomance

Raising funds and mobilising local help
